I am a Labrador hobbyist… or more like a “Lab-adore-ist”!… and sometimes a “Labra-Dork”!… I absolutely adore my puppy monsters, Zoey, Kyle, Woods, Willow, Bozwell and Elliott!

ZOEY, my first labrador puppy, is everything that I could dream of in a labrador; she is gorgeous, kind, caring, loving, patient, understanding, super intelligent, loves to hunt and is crazy about retrieving!

KYLE is the definition of a labrador; he is handsome, kind, gentle, willing to please, outgoing, athletic, retriver extraordinaire, just love of a labrador!

WOODS is a gentle soul; he was debonaire, easy going, athletic and such a sweet Labrador!

WILLOW is a Labrador import from Poland! We are excited for a fresh healthy start (she is already cleared for PRA and EIC by parentage). Thank you to Monika Dowgaillo at Herbu Zadora!

BOZWELL is a Labrador import from Czech. Bozwell was already cleared for PRA, EIC, CNM by parentage. Sadly Bozwell had leg deformities and other medical problems from being overweight. His breeder Dagmar Gotzova at Dashby Labradors.

ELLIOTT is imported from Poland! We are thrilled to have him from Ewa at Bloomwood Labradors!!

Zoey, Kyle, Woods, Willow, Bozwell and Elliott are amazing and active members in the labrador community! They participate in AKC, UKC and International events; including but not limited to conformation, rally, dock jumping and lure coursing. Zoey loves to hunt pheasant and ducks; while Kyle’s passion is for lure coursing! Woods is a total athlete; a retriever galore! Zoey, Kyle and Woods are all certified therapy dogs! We look forward to finding out Willow, Bozwell and Elliott’s passions!

Health wise, Zoey and Kyle are sadly both afflicted by genetic diseases; preventable genetic diseases.

Zoey has hereditary elbow dysplasia and degeneration of her cruciate ligaments, both of which had to be corrected with multiple surgeries in excess of $10K. Gratefully, Zoey is working back up to her daily activities.

Kyle has Inherited Tricuspid Valve Dysplasia (TVD); an autosomal dominant genetic disease. Kyle inherited TVD from one or both of his parents who are also presumably affected. Thankfully, Kyle has a mild grade of TVD and fortunately, there are no limitations on his lifestyle or activity at this time.

Woods sadly and suddenly died at 3 years old. His heart and eye tests were clear. His kidneys however, were not strong enough to sustain his active life. Words cannot describe how much we will miss him like crazy forever…

Bozwell tragically died as a puppy. We were privileged to have him in our lives and we will miss his gentle soul every day…

I am grateful for the health that they have and look forward to a long life with Zoey, Kyle, Willow and Elliott! As terrific as they are, I am a responsible labrador owner and Zoey and Kyle will not be bred.

My puppy monsters have taught me so very much and challenge me everyday with something new! I hope they will continue to teach me about myself, labradors, genetics, teamwork, training, drive, perserverance, personal beliefs, ethics and thresholds. Zoey, Kyle, Woods, Willow, Bozwell and Elliott are my best friends and family members forever!
